The German artist Dieter Nuhr is exhibiting in Austria for the first time, showcasing works from his latest series. His impressive oeuvre reflects his deep connection to the Ruhr region as well as his travels to remote corners of the world. The exhibition "Everywhere Else is Everywhere" at the Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien demonstrates Nuhr's ability to create a fascinating dialogue between the familiar and the foreign.

Dieter Nuhr is widely known to the public primarily as a cabaret artist and satirist. In recent years, however, his paintings, drawings, and photographic works have also gained significant attention. His works have been exhibited worldwide in museums and galleries, including in Rome, Hagen, Venice, Beijing, Shanghai, and Dakar in Senegal.

With the solo exhibition "Dieter Nuhr: Everywhere Else is Everywhere" at the Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien, Nuhr is presenting his works in Austria for the first time. The exhibition spans 900 square meters and features large-format photo works, paintings, and drawings from his latest series. The Ruhr region, Nuhr's birthplace and home region, plays a central role in his works. In the light-flooded rooms of the Kunstforum, these motifs enter into a dialogue with impressions from the most remote regions of the world, which Nuhr has photographed during his travels.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Brost Foundation and coordinated by Association for Art in Public.
